Ok, I admit, I'm kinda biased because I live in Illinois, but we're supposed to be the Land of Lincoln.
I think our first target should be the city of Chicago. We need to launch a way to get a conservative mayor. Once we rescue the city and turn it around, we'll get the voters. We'll put the unions in check (and finally get a Chic-Fil-A in after they banned them for their conservative stand, yes, Emmanual said he'd see to it that they didn't get a building permit until they change their stance on marriage. Whey this guy isn't SO fired for so clearly going outside the law in blocking Chic-Fil-A shows what we're up against in the corruption in Chicago.)
If we get Chicago, we can get a conservative governor easier.
While we probably can't get rid of Emmanual before the 2014 governor election in 2014, we can change the policies in the city by educating Chicagoans.)
Ultimately, we get the governor in. We should act sooner than later also as they're trying to pass same-sex "marriage" here, AGAIN.
If they win there, we'll have what happened to that photographer couple in Colorado (i.e. they got harassed so much that they decided to close their shop) and those who are facing fines and jail time in other states and those who now can't adopt in Massachussets because they don't support the gay agenda.
Also, if we get a conservative governor, we can start to fight Common Core, which I believe we have some violations of the state constitution to address. And, we can balance out, or come close, to dealing with Terry McAwful in Virginia.
Also, if we have Chicago and the northern part of the state, which is what is keeping the state blue, (and we already have the southern half of the state mainly under our control), we can get a red vote in the Presidential election.
Also, if we get the big cities (and hence win over a majority of the population), we can can Durbin (who REALLY needs to go) and the marriage-hating, country betraying, RINO Mark Kirk.
